Therese’s current paintings are a contemporary expression of much-loved, nostalgic pastel hues. The inspiration for this piece was a recent trip she took to the iconic Fitzroy Falls. Therese depicts the yellow hues of wattle blossom, the greens of the gum and the many plants and animals she cam across on her day-long bush walks. Less interested in things being “perfect”, she gives her work a 'made by a human' feel and loves that this is something machines and technology find difficult to create.
